Active day at the Gorky Gorod resort

Just 50 kilometers from the shore of the warm sea in the necklace Of the Caucasus mountains, in the valley of the beautiful river Mzymta lies the famous village of Krasnaya Polyana, which leads to the amazing beauty of the highway with dizzying canyons and gorges:

 Waterfall Polikarya, commonly referred as" Pants for a bifurcated form - is the highest waterfall in Sochi and Krasnodar region - and one of the highest in Europe. The height of the waterfall is about 70m. Located in the area of subalpine meadows at around +1370 m and +1600 m vertically and to the left of the cable car K13, on the slope of the Aibga ridge. Nearby is the snow that does not melt almost all year round. Even in June-July near the waterfall of Polikar lies snow. The stream of Rye, which forms the waterfall of Polikar, flows out of the snow in the Circus-3 and then flows into the river Mzymta.

The length of the eco-route at a waterfall Policare from the cable car To-13 of about 800 m. Hiking Time 15-20 minutes one way. The level of difficulty is easy, the route is available from may to November.

The rope-way from the level of 540 to a mark of 1370 meters, next to three chairlifts cable cars.

It is possible to buy a ticket to  all cable cars of the resort and spend the whole day in the mountains, enjoying the clean air, stunning views, active or just relaxing.

You can have a snack on your own in nature or one in many cafes of the resort in the upper or lower zone.
